And as Ben Wade pointed out, Butterfield cared not for the lives that were lost, just the money that was stolen.

It was also a turning point for Wade and Evans' relationship when Ben Wade realized Evans wasn't in this for riches or glory... he just wanted to take care of his family and to have his son's respect.

Yeah how Is that different from today's garbage society. Most issues can be traced back to monetary concerns because humans are a bunch of idiots. Sometimes I wonder is it really all greed and ineptitude with our leaders of government and companies or is there something else happening. Either way it's a travesty of epic proportion
