The Ending

my favorite ending to any movie ever. The song, the slow pan in, the "I know" while touching his wedding ring. Seriously, it gives me chills every time. That is all.

I really liked the movie, but at that point I hoped it would end, because that was the perfect ending.

A critic at The Guardian called it "one of the most tantalising and ingenious endings in all cinema".

Really a great movie.

Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen!

It's certainly one of my favorites and probably the most memorable and iconic outside of perhaps the end scene in The Graduate.

I just re watched the movie and it occurred to me as they walked up the stairs to Celine's apartment that they both knew in that moment he was going to miss his plane.

Just such an incredible experience being with these two characters again. They barely even touch throughout the movie yet the aching want is just crackling in every frame.

Beautiful end to a beautiful film. A classic.

They were mostly quiet walking up the stairs yet the feelings they had for each other were BAM in your face. I loved what they were able to convey.

The look on his face at the very end was perfect.

There are so many little things that make this a great movie.

A perfect ending to a perfect film.

We'll always have Paris.

YES! Right with you IMDBhereIcome.

Before Before Midnight was made, Hawke said this about making a third film for the series: "It's like trying to go back to the world series or something and [seeing if] we can win game 7 again." I think that's a good analogy and I totally understand their fear of "ruining the magic" that those first two films created. They are magical, beautiful films. And the ending of Before Sunset is maybe my favorite ending of any movie. Perfection beyond description. But I would say this to Ethan, Julie, and Richard: You couldn't ruin those films if you tried. And we all wanted you to make the third (now a fourth!). I can wait six years... 

Yeah the ending really is great and my favorite part about the movie. The dialogue is great of course but I just love how it keeps you wondering if they're gonna "get back together" but mostly you know they are from the beginning but Jesse sure works his way into her apartment smoothly lol. I just love how it's so simple yet such a great ending. I also wonder what happens after but if you've seen Before Midnight u can pretty much say after they made love for days and days in a row, Jesse went back to the US and divorced his wife im guessing and moved back to Paris? Just curious if that you think that happened right when he got back to the US because his wife suspected something was up or he dragged it out? Guess that's what makes it so great you can draw you're own conclusions.
