I do not understand why people love this

Characters just talk too much. Its boring.

Watching a connection between two people in an authentic way will never be boring.

Agreed. Its the simplicity of the movie that I love. And Hawke and Delpy really have some great chemistry going.

I agree with you Brendan86; it never gets old for me (the reality of it and the film itself), and I enjoy its authenticity.

"Go watch Transformers!"

Sorry, couldn't resist.

While I think the film is still slightly overrated, it's nevertheless very good, especially considering it's literally 80 minutes of nothing but dialogue (as is the prequel, Before Sunrise).

The reason I enjoy it enough to give it a 7/10 is because it's one of the most realistic portrayals of this type of relationships I've seen, all inclusive - the awkwardness, the over-cheesy jokes, the constant smiling, trying to sound impressive; this is exactly how I felt about Before Sunset and this movie is basically the same thing, only now the characters are a bit more mature & it shows in their actions and dialogue, very subtly, however they still manage to show that small speck of hopeless romanticism.

It's not meant to be some crazy action film. You're literally watching a rekindling relationship unfolding in real-time that's lied dormant for 9-years but still managed to stay at the forefront of both characters' minds during that time. I think the reason people like these movies so much is because we can all see a bit of ourselves in either Jesse or Celine, even if just a little.

Best screenplay ever. You can watch it without looking at it. Superb

I didn't like part 3, because it was depressing. But intelligent dialogue isn't boring to any intelligent person
