She ditched her friends who genuinely liked her (making an excuse to not go to the art show) to host a party for a bunch of fake friends, many of whom she barely even knew. I can't believe Janice and Damien forgave her for that.

shareWell that was the point, wasn't it? To show the audience that she has completely changed and abandoned her true self and replaced with plastic. That's why that moment (when Janice throws her art piece at Cady) is so pivotal. She realizes what she has become.
They were the ones that pushed her into the double agent thing. She didn't wanna do it. That's not an easy thing to do unless you're in law enforcement and are used to it and even then it can be hard.

shareShe was just misguided. You have to remember she was from Africa so she was not socialized properly. This was pointed out many times during the movie. That is why she used the people around her as lifelines as to how is she supposed to behave and since Regina was the queen she modelled herself after her, only later did she find out she chose the wrong role model to follow.
