And this is supposed to be the new Bond???

How the hell can this whining nancy be Bond - Brosnan or Connery never played these kinds sissy roles, let alone with such curiously natural adoptability. What a ponce he was when he was saying 'Shut up! Shut up!' Is this the kind of spoilt prep-school prat reaction we are to expect from a captive Bond in the future? Rather than a cool Connery-like delivery of 'Do you expect me to talk... if you kill me, 008 will take my place' we're going to get some skinny brat saying 'If you kill me... my mammy will hear about it.'

Kirk out.

Yep. Dan Craig is the best Bond for me.

As for the original poster, Daniel is a great actor. How can you judge him playing Bond through another character? That does not make sense.

"Brosnan or Connery would never seem right in these roles because they were real men."
Have you seen the Matador?

And Daniel Craig is the best Bond ever. He's hard. He'd probably sweep the floor with all the other Bonds, if he could be bothered. And this is coming from a 007 fan who has seen all the Bond movies and am a fan of Roger More.

haha good point. i recently wathced casino royale and i thought6 it was fantastically acted by craig. he is a really good actor, and just because he plays other, more diverse roles, such as ones requiring more mental acting than jumping around shooting people like he's in a game of tekken, doesnt mean he's a poncy actor. well said lintriago-1.

Bizarrely, this film reminded me of the 1970 Roger Moore flick The Man Who Haunted Himself, with a similar pace and style - I was even expecting a Fight Club-style twist. The Man Who Haunted Himself was the last major film Moore did before being cast as James Bond, and also stands out as his strongest role. The same can now be said for Daniel Craig.
