Robert Downey Jr. is synonymous with Tony Stark/Iron Man, but with the MCU possibly heading for a soft reboot, the role will need to be filled.

They will probably bring in another actor to play a Tony Stark variant, like they did all those Bruce Waynes in "The Flash".
