Why Obadiah wanted Tony dead?
Since he ordered the hit before Tony's change of heart I don't exactly get why Obadiah wanted him dead. Without Tony Stark Industries was pretty much useless.
shareStark believed Stark Industries weapons contracts were all with legitimate government buyers; Stane was making extra money by secret 'double dealing' with rebel/terrorist groups (including the Ten Rings), that he knew Stark would not approve of or agree to. I thought it was a nice touch that Tony's near-fatal chest injury was caused by a Stark International shell!
