I remember walking out of the movie and thinking this was pretty good. Then a week later I forgot some of it. 2 weeks later I forgot all of it.
At some point, I was so cocky I thought it was AS GOOD as Jurassic Park.

Just rewatched this for the first time since it came out and it basically copies a lot of the narrative beats from Jurassic Park.
The problem is it’s just not good at any sort of character development whatsoever and the romance between Owen and Claire seems contrived.
