I saw it for the first time as an inflight movie and caught a few minutes of it this weekend. I can't get over just how bad this movie is. Everything about it from the script to the casting to the ridiculous scenes with Susan Sarandon. I was secretly hoping that the movie would end up in a bloodbath.

shareI just finished watching this movie.My main complaint is the casting.In my opinion the two leads had zero chemistry.I've seen Kristen Dunst in a couple movies.She wasn't the problem for me.Orlando Bloom was bad. I didn't feel anything from the way he played his character.It wasn't just his scenes with Kristen.Now that I think about it.Everyone's acting fell flat.Kristen just did slightly better than the rest.Maybe it was the writing.Or directing.Or maybe the the casting.I think Cameron Crow did a good job with Jerry Maguire & Vanilla Sky(although I can't stand Penelope's acting).It seems at least some people like this movie.However Elizabethtown wasn't for me.
