So was Noah the culprit all the time and not one of the elders?
What were those suits made of?
And rumors about creatures in the woods?
What about the howling we kept hearing throughout the whole movie?
The picture in the box which showed the counseling center were those the elders in their younger days? All their beloved ones had been killed was that true? And since they had that in common Edward Walker suggested the idea of the Village? So Edward inherited his father's money and invested into making the village as isolated as possible has been doing that for many years?

So was Noah the culprit all the time and not one of the elders?
Answer: yes and no. The elders were the main "culprits", but Noah found one of the suits in his parents house and pretended to be one of them

What were those suits made of?
Answer: With all the money Walker inhereted, he couldve hired hollywood special effects people to create them and pay them off generously to keep quiet. So, theyre probably made of top line materials

And rumors about creatures in the woods?
Answer: the elders created stories of the creatures and with Noah doing things without their knowledge it added to effect because even though the stories were fake even they had to believe because they didn't know he was doing that, but knew that someone or something was.

What about the howling we kept hearing throughout the whole movie?
Answer: the howling came from speakers hidden in the woods (I think this was explained in the movie) that the elders mustve been able to play sounds from in some control booth.

The picture in the box which showed the counseling center were those the elders in their younger days?
Answer: yes

All their beloved ones had been killed was that true?
Answer: yes. But even though our minds originally pictured it happening in an old time society, the deaths actually occured in modern time. Before they went to/created this old time-y village

And since they had that in common Edward Walker suggested the idea of the Village?
Answer: yes. He thought escaping from modern society and creating a new isolated one based on old time principals from a more innocent time would protect them from further pain and harm.

So Edward inherited his father's money and invested into making the village as isolated as possible has been doing that for many years?
Answer: yes...and will more likely continue by passing on the truth to Ivy and Lucious and keep that going till a new trusted group can be told until someone decides to stop or the truth comes out

Highly unlikely that such a preposterous lie could be continued without the basis of trauma behind it. Why would they agree to needlessly lose children to curable diseases and accidents when they took no oath to do so? Ivy and Lucious would have first hand experience of the benefits of modern medicine.

Noah was the culprit of all the things that the Elders seemed perplexed by such as the killing of the animals. The visit of the creature on that night when Ivy waited on her porch for Lucius was not Noah. I suspect it was her father as we do not see him during that visit.

The creature suits seemed to be made of red material with what seemed like large quills/spikes possibly made of animal bones or maybe wood.

When her father was telling Ivy about their reasons for leaving their past lives he mentions that the history books he used when teaching at the university mentioned legends about creatures in those woods.

The elders had some way of making the sounds. It's not explained how. When they are feasting outdoors at those long tables we clearly see Noah with them so we know it's not him. It could be one of the other adults we don't see a lot of.

Yes, that is indeed a photo of the elders In their younger days (plus Lucius as a baby). We have no reason to think that the stories of how their loved ones died were untrue.

Yes, Edward inherited his fathers great wealth and used the wealth to purchase all that land and established a trust fund of some type that somehow pays all the right people to keep the preserve untouched.

And the obvious reason for this detail is so, when a creature seems to be stalking Ivy AFTER we've learned that they're just people in suits, is so the audience will worry it's a real monster after all, since otherwise we'll know she's not in danger.

There's a deleted scene included on the DVD that shows hollow pipes hung in the trees in the woods. The howling sounds were created when wind would blow across these pipes.

The rest of your questions are answered accurately.

Okay, not sure that needed to be mentioned three times, but it's a nice detail. I would've left it in the movie, I think.

Why do you have these questions? You watched the movie right? It's all there. Seriously, "Are those the elders in the picture?" Well seeing as how the camera zooms in and you can CLEARLY SEE ALL OF THE ELDERS, yes those are the elders.

I think you're the opposite of paranoid, I think you walk around with the delusion people like you.

Some people have trouble understanding things even though they watch a movie. It is not always that they did not pay attention. No need to be hateful or act as if you are perfect, Luke_was_a_terrorist
