Jesus Christ!, this is the worst movie ever seen!, Yes, I'm India and from Delhi..this is just an insult to India, it shows in plenty the poverty in India...Very Bad movie!...This is all I've to say and yes, most of them agree with me as it's a Super-Flop of the year..

India has its two sides, viz. one what Karan Johar shows(most of the times an exaggeration) and one what is shown here(no exaggeration).
I've been to Indian villages, viz. Tamil Nadu and Bihar villages. and believe me, this movie Swades is not far from reality.
There're rich people in India but there're by far more poor people in India.
So the plot of this movie is awesome and representation, even better.
Maybe you have not seen both the sides.
