At first i think instantly of Jacob's Ladder, and then Butterfly Effect. But after watching the whole movie i feel it's more similiar feeling to Twelve Monkeys. Still quite different tho
shareHaven't seen Jacob's ladder so I can't tell about it, but I was definitely thinking of twelve monkeys and I'm surprised no one mentioned it, one flew over the cuckoo's nest....(specially in the scene when Brody and Mackenzie cause a fuss during therapy with the other mental patients)

The film appears to be addressing the nature of our consciousness, and the process of death. Much like Jacobs ladder, this film addresses the impact of the choices we make, and subtly leads us towards the reality that we cant write our loved ones a letter before its too late, only afterwards. Lovely film.
