Mort taking the wrap

First off I wanna say Mort looked handsome with braces when he smiled at the end I just wanted to melt. anyway I was kinda upset about how the towns people were treating him at the end I mean Mort basically took the wrap for shooters behavior...Mort may have not been put away for the crimes he didn't comit in the first place but for everyone to treat him so badly was uncalled for...shooter and Mort looked nothing alike total oppisites if you ask me so why aren't they out looking for shooter the real culprit...Mort would never kill chico he loved that dog...the wife on the other hand deserved to die like the dirty tramp she was...heads up for that one shooter....she drove Mort into a deep depression for heavens sake...he had the right to lay around all day in a blue dirty ripped robe all day and night... so what considering what she did to him it's a wonder the poor man didn't kill himself...what a bitch

Everyone needs to believe in something. I believe I will have another beer!

............What?

Well, I think the only one who treated him bad was the post office girl, she probably had heard rumours; but the Bowie's store woman and the other guys there acted the same as before.

I believe the sheriff saying "you make people uncomfortable" just takes for granted that everyone wants Mort away, which is actually what HE wants.

The sheriff has had time to piece together Shooter doesn't exist as have everyone else so naturally they know Mort did it with no other suspects.

I was curious if Mort still insisted on going into town to do shopping if the Sheriff could do anything about it. Mort could have a law suite against the town for discriminating against him when there isn't enough evidence for them to accuse him of murder.

Although with it being a small town, The judges there might side with everyone else.

You realize that Mort and Shooter are the same person...right?

reply

If you were asking me... Yeah, I am aware of that, but the people in the town doesn't necessarily know what we know as audience.
