The subtitles...

I know that Tarantino was trying to be true to the story, and stick with the actual language of where the film was taking place (which makes sense by the way). I mean, obviously, having German soldiers speaking English doesn't really make much sense, except for the purpose of an English speaking viewer. And let me assure you, I usually have no problem with subtitles and foreign films. But here was the problem: Tarantino is well-known for writing really, really extensive dialogue scenes. Which most of the time with his films, isn't a problem. It's to be expected if you're familiar with Tarantino's style. But seeing that this movie was subtitled, combined with the extensive dialogue...it became annoying after a while. And plus, the coloring of some of the subtitles seemed to practically blend in with the color of the movie, making the subtitles unreadable. The lengthy, fast, and hard to see subtitles were definitely a problem at times

But other than that, I still enjoyed the film.
