the dream in Season 4

I know we found out in a later season that it was all a dream, but it was initially presented as actual time jump, as I recall.

Would’ve been cool had they left it that way. It still works, since Kimber is nowhere to be seen. Had they kept it as a reality, and had the forethought to do so in the writing room, would’ve been cool for them to sprinkle little references to future events. Like when talking about not getting married, Christian could’ve said something like “I already had one wife die,” or during Annie’s rant she could’ve said something like “Or the time I almost died on the operating table because of my dad’s stalker,” just little things to make you wonder, or get you excited later on, when we saw Christian get married, or Colleen show up.
