How Damon Albarn come off in Live Forever

Being a fan of both Blur and Oasis, I was really disappointed in how Damon Albarn came off in this movie. He seemed SO together back in 1994 and 95 and now he seemed uncomfortable with just about every question. Maybe he's always been that way, but I just expected him to be a lot more eloquent, confident and more at ease with his past, but he wasn't at all - especially when juxtaposed with Noel Gallagher's down to earth straightforwardness.

What did everyone else think?

According a radio interview with Jonathan Clarke, Damon had a problem with the director of the film, didn't want to be a part.

Damon Albarn is completely bored and tired of talking about stuff that happened 10-15 years ago , and this totally comes across in this documentary

He's never attracted the press or media attention like say ...... ooohhhh Noel Gallagher does

Dont get me wrong I love Oasis BUT I wish Noel Gallagher would just go away at times as he seems to have a view or opinion on EVERYTHING these days and its becoming very very boring. Even Liam has repeatedly said that his brother is a right tool in this respect.

Maybe Noel should use his words and wisdom (!) and energy , and get back to the studio instead . He aient made a decent record since 1995 4 fox sake

Dig out your soul is at the very least a very good album, no other bands produced rock music last year that can compare with songs like The Turning, Bag it up, Shock of Lightning, Falling down and I'm Outta time.

This documentary was released in 2003, so it wasn't such a long time that those things happened.

I'm Oasis all the way, but I thought Damon held his own, actually. I thought he was pretty candid and as honest as someone like him can be.

Yeah, Damon seemed fine to me. Damon was just honest, Noel was the cocky one in this movie.

True enough.....Noel was cocky, funny @ times, too. Liam was hilarious, IMO.
But I did think Damon was very candid and even admitted he was young and got played by the hype blitz.
Are you a fan of Oasis?

I am a huge fan of Oasis. I have all of their albums and singles, and I just caught Noel live a few months ago.

Awesome! I am a huge fan as well! I just think they need to be together. :(
I'm adding you to my friends list. Cool? That way, if one of us hears anything of vital importance, we can find each other easily enough! Peace!

Know-it-all nonners are everywhere.

My fiance is from Sheffield and is absolutely the coolest most laid back man I've ever met.
I also have many Londoner M8's who are cool and laid back. So I guess as an outsider from the U.S. looking in, it sort of evens out.
I've always wanted to see Oasis at Wembley for ages! I keep telling myself "maybe nest year!" lol
