Inventive film making

The South Korean film makers put their Hollywood equilivants to shame...there is more origonality in stoytelling and use of the camera, quirky shots and inventive use of special effects than in the entire American top ten. this and Oldboy are two real gems and I'm currently delving further into the wonderful world of Korean cinema......It is a huge shame that half this imaginative lyrical humourous and intelligent nation live in such an apalling repressive regime....
