"I am not a liberator. Liberators do no exist. The people liberate themselves."-Che Guevara
Nice choice on Damaged. I grew up listening to Chain of Strength, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth Of Today, etc. So I listen to a lot of hardcore punk. Definitely anything by Black Flag or Minor Threat is amazing...same for Bad Brains. Some modern stuff is amazing...like American Nightmare's "Background Music." Very much the best hardcore kids are going to get since the 80's and early 90's. It isn't like modern hardcore like Hatebreed or Terror and actually has that punk music feel to it. You guys should check it out, even though the band is now broken up.

"hey EMO kid, I'm gonna choke you out while your mom watches and calls you a ****** lipstick wearing pussy and dumps a can of pabst on your head and cheers me on to make you "bleed from the ears" cuz she's embarrased and ashamed that she did'nt go to the women's clinic when she had the chance and now Bizz is holding you down by the face and she's kicking you in the bag to get back at you for wearing her make-up and later me and your mom are gonna make with the nasty sex you black, skin tight, hot topic t shirt wearing pussy"- me from my acoustic album
I may be alone here but... I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love is an amazing break-out album, with some noteworthy songs (Vampires Will Never Hurt You, Headfirst For Halo's) and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a mindblowing album (Give 'Em Hell Kid, The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You, To The End being some of my faves).
Seriously, My Chemical Romance is quite punk, but I'm not saying that their better than these other bands. I'm just saying that they are a phenomenal, epic band with tragic and beautiful lyrics.
Oh, and I must say, the above mentioned albums are totally awesome. I want to see this movie, almost more than I wanted to see 300 after the trailer.
And by the way...I'm a girl. PUNK WILL NEVER DIE!!!
You guys have THREE SECONDS to get the hell off me, before I stop thinking of you as friends and start thinking of you as mutilated corpses. - Lothar, EN

Hello I'm Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass. Jackass The Movie 2 arriving in 2006.
Everyone, please, stop talking about the Clash and the Sex Pistols starting punk rock. We, the true punks, all know that there were bands before them that influenced them, they just did it faster.
Oh, and *beep* GG Allin, that POS did nothing for punk, he spit in the face of punks and his name is blasphemous to our scene and culture. He was nothing more than a marilyn manson prototype and should never be considered to have any influence over anyone in punk rock. You know who likes GG Allin? Posers like Anti-Flag, so go suck them off and worship the label they're enslaved to!
