shareLove LL! I think I have seen most of the episodes and have some of them on VHS (the dubbed ones only). I am trying to piece together an episode guide.
For example, I think the episode on TLN on Friday, Sept 1, 2006 seemed like on the last episodes - Raphael played the tape of the girls and their kidnapper together. Then the episode on TLN on Saturday, Sept 2, 2006 seemed like one of the beginning episodes - they are still trying to select the lead actress for the show.
If anyone has any insight in this, I would greatly appreciate the help.
As best as I can tell, TeleLatino Network (TLN) in Canada runs the original Spanish-language version of the series in its entirety on Fridays at 1:00 a.m. There are 50 episodes and the last one ends with weddings (I won't say whose). On Saturday and Sunday they run the English-dubbed version, or at least the first 28 episodes of it. They have never broadcast the final 22 episodes in English.
The acting is far superior in Spanish. the problem with the English-dubbed version lies in both the quality of the translation (too literal) and the fact that the same actors seem to be doing the English dub and some of them are not up to the task of acting in a foreign language.
My personal peeve is that TLN keeps shortening the episodes in order to cram even more commercials into them, resulting in entire scenes being cut down into a few seconds.
I have recorded just about every episode onto DVD and I may eventually find a way to make them available to others.
