halo is much better
halo is better
shareHalo defies the laws of science by both sucking AND blowing at the same time. It's the most overrated game in recent history, along with it's sequel. The only thing I can think of why people continue to praise it is; that it's got a good musical score in the same genre of the chanting monks. I think that it's the music that keeps all these people tunnel-visioned...or should I say "halo-visioned". Once they hear that music, they automatically step back through time all those years ago(sarcasm) when they first picked up the game and remember all those good times they had with it, playing it over & over & over & over & over & over & over.....................
Pretty boring if you ask me. I only have both halo games because they were gifts, otherwise I would have filmed me setting them on fire & then post it on the internet someplace.
What the *beep* dude this is a splinter cell board shut up about halo it is awesome go talk about it in the halo board damn we get it there not the same only retards try to compare and besides that what games do you like stovich i bet you still use a joystick and after you die you shove it up your ass hahaha and I like halo because it is fun SP and MP are amazing but anyway if you want to bash it go somewhere else this is for splinter cell only bitch *beep*
shareHalo is so much better than stupid splinter cell. Halo Rocks.
shareu idiot u can compare the 2 in halo u blast ur way through every thing but in splinter cell u sneak ur way through and u take valuable info without being detected if u compare those 2 then my friend u need a life
What were you expecting something special
Has anyone realized this post started almost 2 and a half years ago. Anyway Chaos Theory owns HALO anyday in Single Player. Multi-player HALO owns ALL.
sharehalo sucks.splinter cell rocks
shareYeah, I believe is the music too, but Halo isn't boring.
shareyeah, even though this topic is like 256168435165451 years ago, one can't compare Splinter Cell and Halo. They are two completely different genres...BUT, if one were to compare the both just as games alone, Splinter Cell owns. Halo is overrated :D

GET THE JELLY, TWAT!
I've never played halo, but this board, wtf? Splinter Cell, which got my dad interested in games, is stealth action. u have 2 b smart and accurate w/ ur gun (i wasted ammo and had 2 start the entire mission over). halo u aim @ anything that moves and shoot.
shareHalo owns SC. Have you seent he game? Its friggin awesome. For shhoting Halo go multiplayer and u wont be dissapointed. Plot not so good. But people buy halo for the same reason the buy doom and resident evil. You like destroyign to enemy. For espionage, SC is good, just as good as hitman. I love both them. I think hitman is more playable though.
sharehi again. it's me. afsdkjl;
sharehhmmmmm let me think
METAL GEAR SOLID!
splinter cell copy of MGS!
plain and simple
One's an action game. The other is enitrely stealth based. Very different. MGS is like an anime cartoon.

Have you even played Splinter Cell? Multiplayer of Halo is awsome, but personaly I prefer Splinter Cell's (from Chaos Theory?). Doom, great, but it's getting kind of boring, and Resident Evil, please give me a break. When you said that you like destroying you're enemy, I asummed that you haven't fished the game, maybe because "you like destroying you're enemy". Oh, and comparing Hitman to Splinter Cell, WRONG! Spplinter Cell is way better than Hitman. Hitman is more playable because you can destroy your enemy (using your statement), which makes it easier.
shareIts all in your preference of shooters...
i personally got sick of just run and gun like halo
and the multiplayer is boring unless you do a lan or go live
plus if its lan or regular single xbox multi you got split screen
the coop for it is the same as single player missions so if you play through it once you already know what to do for both single and coop
in halo 2 you get to be an elite in the story offering a new point of view
splinter cell has a more tatical so you cant just run into a crowd of enemies or you'll get killed
the multiplayer looks pretty intresting from what ive seen when you view it the only down side is that it can only be played via lan or live
but unlike in halo because its lan or live its one screen per person.
coop isnt set for the same missions as you go through as fisher
and in double agent it gives you a choise like in fable, kotor I and II and jade empire (making you choose between a good path or a path of evil)
over all i like playing the splinter cell series more because it isnt running into a crowd of enemies and having the choise between killing a person or simply knocking them out
i will admit that i do like to go back through on halo and just screw around (like killing my own men like all of us do every so often)
i am looking forward to both halo 3 (even though i dont have a 360 ><) as well as splinter cell: double agent

"i will admit that i do like to go back through on halo and just screw around (like killing my own men like all of us do every so often)"
LOL, YOUR RIGHT!!!
p.s. I'm too loking foward to Halo 3 and Splinter Cell: Conviction only on 360.
halo is better
Different Genre. You cant really compare the two.
shareI totally agree. In one, you re-heal, have a large arsenal of guns, and can just blow everyone to bits. In the other, you have to be sneaky and kill silently, or else the AK-47 weilding terrorist with pwn you. Although they are both great games (I like Halo 2 a little better but thats besides the point) you can't compare them with gameplay. Things like graphics however...are another story.
sharegtfo dumb halo nerd. halo is sooo overated.
shareComparing Metal Gear to Splinter Cel is one thing, but Halo to Splinter Cell...Man (or woman) you got to be kidding me!! They are way to different games. Splinter Cell is now, in this time. Halo is a few years away, in a near future (if there are any aliens at all).
p.s. Asuming that this post was when Splinter Cell I got out: Chaos Theory won a 9.9 to 10 out of 10 of score against all the other viedeogames, and Splinter Cell I was a huge hit, and even though not much people know it thanks to all the publicty of Halo I, Splinter Cell beat Halo, and way much people were aleady waiting for it. Actually I don't remember how much Halo 2 won, but it wasn't more than Splinter Cell. That's the only way that I can compare them.
