so many great moments ...
any part with osaka is halarious .. the things she comes up with, i liked when she had all these ideas at the sports festival, the bread eating, and putting your hands strait out so that it would be harder to pass... brilliant
and yukari!
osaka talking to yukari: "americians keep their shoes on in there houses right? well what if they step in dog poo, and then track it in the house!!!!"

During the last trip to the summer house when Yukari starts to peel out, but has the car in reverse and it flings about all over the yard. I had to watch that scene 3 times.... ;)

lol i liked the part where Tomo gets Chiyo to do a handstand with her and someone maybe Yomi calls Tomo and Chiyo falls lol i laughed at that part

I almost died when Chiyo-chan tells Sakaki that she can pet Tadakichi-san. Sakaki tentatively reaches down and pets his head...for 40 seconds...with absolutely nothing else happening.

There are too many funny moments to pick just one, highlights that come to mind include:

Osaka and the knife

Tomo hitting Yukari with the tray and getting hit back many times

Kimura crying when he tells the class how a friend teaches at a girls school where the students turn up to class in gym kit.

Nyamo getting drunk at the summer house and telling the children about her love life.

Chiyo-chan getting knocked out by the softball was genious, mainly down to the pauses when you wait for something funny to happen.

Osaka trying to scare Chiyo-chan with a firework and her comical 'evil laugh'.

Plus the line that had me in tears by Osaka - 'Last night, I was in my room, when I smelled a fart that wasn't mine!

Osaka's so quotable, isn't she? I love her ^_^

And I'd have to agree with whoever said "Kimura = LEGEND" Every time that guy showed up, you just knew something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be good lol Kimura's the best male character on Azumanga besides "Chiyo's Dad" the cat :D

Most of my faves have been mentioned before, but one moment that sticks with me that hasn't gotten a mention yet is when Chiyo pulls rank on the first year. Hearing her giggle after reading that guy the riot act gets me everytime.

"The weed of crime bears bitter fruit, you old hag!!!"

The look on her face the morning after, as realization slowly sinks in, is just priceless.

That, and the girls treating her with such new-found respect.
