Would you do it?

I would. But then, I'd do a lot of things.

For that purpose in that context, definitely.

I'd definitely take it all off...

My hair that is!
Next Saturday, the 6th of May 2006, I'm going to shave my head.

I am taking part in this year's World's Greatest Shave!

It's a great way to raise funds to help patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. All I have to do is shave my head, and all you have to do is find it in your hearts to donate to this worthwhile cause.

My sponsorship will provide personalised and practical care and support, as well as helping to fund cutting edge research into treatments and cures.

Please sponsor me online with your credit card, and help me reach my sponsorship target! Just go to:

http://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/myhomepage.php?id=93072

A tax deductible receipt will be sent to you once your sponsorship has been processed.

You will also see a photo of me when you go to that link and after I shave my head I will post an "after" photo.

Thank you for your kind support!

The Saltman.

Obviously, the problem they had was mostly about their ages. Women over 50 have very real fears about being seen naked because they are worried that their bodies, being no longer youthful, will just be too awful and they'd be embarrassed because of it. It is a much easier decision for a younger woman. Putting aside moral issues for a moment, how many men would want to be seen naked after a certain age? I'd have a real problem with it, because I, like most people (I believe, if they are willing to admit it) am vain. I was never handsome, but I did have a nice body once. So the purpose would have to be one that I could see myself becoming willing to put aside my vanity and say, What the hell.

Hi

Well I'm a lot younger than these girls and I'm the opposite sex, but I HAVE done it.

The two gay landlords of a local pub and several of their friends wanted to do a calender for the local children's hospice, they were a few bodies short and put out a request for people willing to help out. In the end there was nine gay blokes and two straight, I can tell, you me and the other straight guy were more than a little nervous about that LOL.

We collected quite a bit of money and it went to a very good cause, so well worth it.

I would if I had a body like Helen Mirren ... and if I had a few strategically placed pastries and leaves ... plus a lot of Vaseline for the lens ...

I agree with Warped Record, but hasten to add my nude pic might make sales go down. Hell, I don't look so good with clothes *on*!

Ya know...before I saw the movie, I don't think so. I don't have the body I did when I was younger! But after seeing the movie and after a couple glasses of wine, I'd do it in a heart beat! (I've lost too many loved ones to cancer...so if there was something I could do to help raise money, I sure would.)

BTW, the movie is on 3 times today. I finally saw it (all the way through) for the first time just this morning.

I'd do it in a split second. It was for a great cause and to honour the memory of a wonderful man. Then again, I have no problem getting naked in front of other people. I'm very comfortable with my body. Plus it would be SO much fun to do a photo shoot like that for a cheeky calendar. It'd be brilliant! :)

I am over 50 but I also have a state job and I am not about to lose my job of almost 7 years and my body is full figured. So no.
