The last shot of the movie *** spoiler ***

I thought the very last shot of the movie was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I couldn't help but think how so many other directors would have butchered the scene by editing in a bunch of melodramatic closeups and maybe thrown in a flashback or two just for the heck of it. The one, continuous long shot which at first emphasized Charlie's insignificance compared to the Arctic and then showed him being literally surrounded by the Inuit was so touching. Sigh... not too many movies like this around, more's the pity. Thank you, Charles Martin Smith!
