Just noticed 'Selfie' being used in this movie

with a regular camera, just seconds before it ends.

it raised my curiosity as to how old selfie really is before the actual word got coined and it got famous, and how often used in movies or seen anywhere else.

I noticed that too! As far as when it was coined it sounds like something hotly debated.

I noticed that too but I wasn't too surprised. My granddad use to joke there were never photos of him because he always took the photo so he'd turn the camera around, smile and take a photo of himself. It was a family joke. He'd take a photo of all of us gathered together then say "Now one of me so you know what I looked like". I miss him.

Look what I found. I Google'd "old selfies".

Yeah, people used to take photos before it was a thing. The Spanish teacher said they called them 'big head pictures'

Wildcattin'...Wildcattin'. Pow! I'm gonna go.

God dammit! You've been able to take selfies since the 1920s! Don't be ridiculous!

True, but prior to digital cameras, we wouldn't know if the "selfie" was taken correctly until after we got the film developed days later..unless you were rich and had a Polaroid camera.
