ok,, Tad was really damn smokin HOT!! but Pete really loved her nd he wasnt unfortunate lookin at all,,
if she went wiv Tad her whole life wood b turned around n she'd lose everything.
Sure Tad was really sweet how she was just a competition winner but he chose to be with her even tho she lived where and how she did,, and how he was gona stay with her instead of doin that huge movie//
but Pete knew her well n really lurved her n if she wanted a real relationship n LOVE she was better of goin with PETE

TAD! TAD! TAD!
I never cry at movies (accept the Passion of the Christ but that was a meaningful masterpiece!)I almost cried at the end of this movie when she went back home,
I'd definately choose Tad, Certainly not for Money or Fame,Thats a reason NOT to choose him,ESPECIALLY being from Hollywood.Moneys what people want most in this world they'd even kill for it,but still not happy when they get it! thats why Tad left LA.
Pete's sweet and you know he always loved Rosalee,
but Tads not a jerk either! he's handsome,sweet,AND lovable. True he's not perfect but that adds to the complexity of his character,(Josh Duhamel really shined in this role) he came to West Virgina trying to get his prioritys staight! he was even going to turn down the film role he'd been dying for! he stays at a crummy motel and doesn't have a fit not having all the conveniences he's use to!
Tad showed a lot of improvement as the film progressed, like when he argued with his manager over the phone that theres more to life than business!
and at the end he proves hes a better man when he does the honorable thing and tells Rosie the truth and flys her back home.
Everyone deserves a chance to change! this movie would have been PERFECT if it went with that theme,it would have been more unpredictable & original too! I don't like the ending! they made Tad too Adorable and too much of a Prince Charming to end it with him getting hurt!
BRAIN STORM: A feel good Romantic Comedy should have a happy ending!..soo! have an alternate ending! where she goes with TAD! that way everyones happy! and you can watch the ending of your choice!!

ooh, pete, definitely. in all his cute, funny, scrawny-bodied glory. hands down, no questions asked. i've always adored Topher Grace.

Pete 100% Tad isn't the least bit appealing to me. He's self-obsessed, materialistic, hyper-sexed, shallow, boring, unintelligent, rich (yes, that's a negative), and not even a good actor (I don't even like his looks). Pete is cute, sweet, smart, funny, and genuine. He truly cares about Rosalee whereas Tad could never care about someone more than himself.
