I don't know about my favorite movie quote ever but I did get a kick when the girl is explaining that "the zone is the proper balance of protien, fat and carbs" and he looks at the pizza and says "This combination right here is appropriate as hell".

Mary Steenburgen isn't in this movie at all. You are referring to a line spoken by Anne Archer a lovely woman who, other than both having dark hair, looks nothing like Mary.

I can't believe no one mentioned the comment to the pizza delivery kid who watched all the cheerleaders walk by the door and told Tommy Lee Jones he was his hero. TLJ tells him, "Imagine what that means to me" and kicks the door shut in his face. No one can deliver a droll comment like TLJ. That and liking himself when he drinks but other people having a problem with him are the best.

One of my recent favorite movies I missed back when it came out. Sure, not the deepest, not profound and some of the characters were a bit annoying at times, but overall (and I've rewatched it probably a dozen times) I always have a laugh or chuckle. Tommy Lee Jones was great in all his comedic solemnity. Many great quotes like the one you mentioned.
