Best book, worse film
Surprised to see this film ranking higher than the three before it. This was a hugely disappointing film. On the other hand, The Half Blood Prince, which was my least favourite book, is my favourite film.
shareGoblet of fire has grown on me over the years. At a time it was my least favourite because it feels so crunched with material with very few moments of calmness. But I don't base my thoughts on these film's based on the book's adaptation. It is really naive to judge a movie based on it's adaptation. I've read books and saw their movies and noticed differences, but it doesn't alter the experience for me. Looking at the film's as a whole Goblet of Fire is the best directed in the entire series and Azkaban has the best cinematography.
