Got me beat. My personal record for seeing the same film in theater is 4 times (before FvJ it was for The Mummy Returns) and I wanted to use FvJ to break that record but sadly I only saw it 4 times. Looking back I wish I had just forced myself to do it. Tried again 8 years later with Scream 4 but that movie was a disappointment and I never saw it more than once in the theater.
Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!
I saw it one time at the theatre.
shareI saw it on DVD and got a boner from the chick smoking menthols ...
shareI saw it once at the cinema but about a dozen times on DVD/BluRay. I love the film!!!
shareOnce in theaters and countless on DVD. Everytime i see the goat or sheep in Blake's dream sequence, i think of Slipknot's Iowa cover. Watching it now.
shareI watched it 5 times in theaters. I was obsessed when this film came out and sadly looking back I was young and dumb and should have realized how lame it would be.
shareBased.
I've personally never seen a film more than once in theaters.
I doubt OP is around to answer but for anyone that did happen to catch this in theaters, do you still feel that same level of enthusiasm watching it again after all these years? I had a similar affinity for AVP but through a more mature lens I came to realize how terrible it was. I'd imagine I would've felt the same with a heavyweight crossover like this.
shareI love rewatching both of those movies. Yeah AVP is dumb, but it was on par with the few books I read. So I give it a pass every time. If they had FVJ show in a theater, I'd definitely go just for the fun.
shareAs dumb as these movies were, you could count on the high budget SFX (albeit dated). The theaters definitely heighten the experience for sure!
shareI never saw this in theatres but used to watch it on DVD all the time back in 2004-2005.
I have a lot of affection for this film. It has now passed into the nostalgia realm. This film is so 2003 (which was nearly two fucking decades ago!!) I can't help but love it more and more.
Nostalgia is very powerful!
2003 for sure lol!
