Am I the only one who couldn't stand Kyo?

He's a whiney emo bitch. He complains about everything, and he acts like a total tough guy even though he sucks. Whenever he fights someone, he puts himself on the recieving end of a well-needed ass kicking. The only one he can fight is Momiji, but he's a total wuss.

The Nostalgia Critic describes him the best in the beginning of this video:

It's a shoujo element to have a love triangle. It's staple. Everyone of us could complain about this but it won't stop the cycle. Plus, in Japan and in a lot of Asian countries, we find this scenario very romantic. Well, occasionally I do.

As for Kyo - that's my favourite character. Him emo? HAHA! You've never met a proper emo have you? Thank your stars you haven't. Emos are very privileged whinny brats who think everyone is devoid of emotions except them. And that they have no money to buy stuff and are very poor hence they look bad, except they whine to their parents till their ears bleed and they feel guilty that they end up buying them their gears. Then, afterwards, in the end they're going to hate on their own parents. These ungrateful brats....

Please...

So you don't know one or two or three.

Kyo will beat the crap out of these emo kids goodnight.

Again - Momiji a wuss? Nope.... just different culture again. He's just a non-aggressor.

If anything. I AM PISSED ABOUT BEING CHEATED WITH THE STORY. Don't care about predictability. It's a shoujo manga/ anime right? That's a given staple, it's like entering a room you already know what's inside but you still go in. To complain about it is stupid.

The anime and sort of the manga sets up a love triangle. I HATED that the mangaka suddenly changes Yuki into viewing Tohru as a mother. What?! There's not even a proper confrontation or dealing... it just one day serialized that way. Change of tone and pacing without warning or build-up to it. That was bad. Bad writing.
