Spoilers about Evie

I know the movie doesn't spoon feed the viewer, but based on what we do know about Evie through certain parts I was wondering a couple things -

1. The newspaper clipping about Evie being abused by her uncle/step dad. Was Evie telling the truth about being pushed into the fire and the other sexual abuse? As for Brooke's bf, was that just a lie, or was she telling the truth about him and just leaving out the part about the breakup so she could stay with Tracy?

2. Did she purposely try to make Tracy and Mel's relationship go downhill so she could be the "Tracy" that Mel wanted back, and as long as Tracy was acting out she thought it would get her a spot in the house.

3. Did Evie say that her mother died earlier in the movie, and then she revealed that she was a crack whore that surprised Mel when she said it so casually later on?

4. I was obvious that she gave Javi a bj in the candy store, did she like Javi when he asked Tracy out, or was it just another act of wanting Tracy's life?

5. Why did she lie about getting her ass beat over the double date at her house?

ERW and HH should have been nominated for a Academy award. So powerfull was there performance especially the ending!

1. Unsure, though I do suspect there was some abuse in Evie's life
2. I don't think it was intentional, although she was trying to win Mel over so that she'd want to adopt her
3. Yes. Mel and Mason remembered what Evie had said the first time, that's why they looked at her strangely when she said, " My mom's a crack whore"
4. She liked Javi and she was jealous when he paid attention to Tracy. But as far as Javi was concerned, he really didn't care, as long as he was getting free bjs
5. Unsure...perhaps for attention

My instinct tells me her Mother was not dead but left her. Brooke appears to be her aunt (just something I suspected). I think she was abused by her Mother's boyfriend as a child, yes. But she wasn't currently being abused. I suspect she was apprehended by child protective services as a child due to the abuse and her real mother lost custody or walked out.
