How did he get those wounds? I mean, the story he's telling his wife has to be a lie, and we know he didn't have anything to do with the murder, so what actually happened?
shareIt has been a while since I've seen this, but if I recall correctly, after Dave left the bar he encountered a child molester with a child in a car, and he freaked out (understandably, based on his past) and ended up beating the guy to death. I believe this scene was Dave's confession [spoiler]right before he was killed[/spoiler].
