When lukeg47 brought up the subject of who would win between Alucard, D and Blade, I started thinking of who could not only beat Alucard, but wipe the friggin´ floor with him. What do you think? What movie, cartoon or comic-book character could do to Alucard what he does to everyone else. Aside from people like Q, Dr. Manhattan and others with godly power, that is.
If you disqualify anyone with 'godly powers', no one can win. Alucard has godly powers. He's a vampire who got so badass that he was transfigured and became a god of blood and darkness.
All that aside, I'd like to see a fight between him and the Corinthian from The Sandman. I doubt the Corinthian would win, but I don't think Alucard would be able to kill him, either. The Corinthian is a nightmare, so he's basically immortal unless Dream uncreates him. Although he'd probably have multiple orgasms just looking at all those eyes - advantage or disadvantage? Hmmm...
Liquid metal robots? Do what Superman should have done with Doomsday: just throw the suckers into the sun. End of story. Not that I'm comparing Superman to Alucard; Alucard would kick Superman's ass while simultaneously raping Doomsday like a little bitch.
Anderson or maybe Walter remains really the only decent match. If Walter already fought big A in volume 8 I'm going to scream; I had a hard enough time waiting for volume 7 way over here in America, ass-kicking-deprived (yes, I know who Chuck Norris is, and I don't even care) wasteland that it is.

Well, I agree with you a lot, and please take note that I don't mean any disrespect to you, but do you know how strong Superman and Doomsday are? If not, go to the DBZ thread and take a look. From what I heard about the pre and postcrisis Superman, he's pretty freakin' powerful; and, if Alucard was surprised about Paladin Alexander being a regenerator and got a chestful of swords, then imagine how surprised he'd be if Superman and Doomsday fought him, let alone at the same time. Incognito would've won if he didn't kill Alucard in that particular place, anyway, so Superman and Doomsday would completely overpower him. So who could take Alucard? I think many could, given the proper situation - even Blade, and he's a weaker vampire compared to Alucard. If all it took was a few blessed, silver hollow-points, then many could kill Alucard.
shareThere is no concievable way for alucard to take on Dr. Doom, or light yamagi from deathnote. Light needs your name and face to kill you, that is all, and you will die. Doom is a master of science and magic, and could do any number of nasty things to alucard.

Besides (perhaps) Roland Deschain from Stephen King's Dark Tower cycle, I can't think of anyone who could even attempt to battle Alucard 1vs1. His regeneration and the nearly ludicrous array of supernatural powers he has access to makes him, in my opinion, impossible to pin down, much less hold your own against.
Hell, I think Glory could take Alucard, but then she was sorta beaten by Buffy. Hell dimension Glory?
I'm sure Kain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kain_%28Legacy_of_Kain%29) would at least stand a chance against Alucard, as he does have some of the same powers except the dog summoning thing. He also got his heart torn out alive and he still survived, and his weapon (the soul reaver) is holy so he should put up a good fight.
If not an enemy he could make a good friend for Alucard since they both think alike :)
There it is!!! And I don't really know about Kain, But Raziel could very easily vanquish Alucard. After tearing him apart with the reaver, Raziel would just eat Alucard's soul (or absorb it in the reaver -Soul Reaver 2 style-)!! No more soul = no more Alucard, no more regeneration! Keep in mind that Raziel could destroy probably ANY OTHER CHARACTER OUT THERE, even guys like Hellboy, because he could eat their souls and not actualy send them to hell so they can return. Btw Raziel is my favorite character in the world, Alucard being second :) !

Dante would be a good match for Alucard. He has the weapons, the powers/abilities and hes practically invincible. He probably wouldn't kill Alucard but he would give him a run for his money. Super Buu from DBZ is also another one who could probably take Alucard.
