Some actors not so good and Angela Bettis bit over-the-top

Just saw this film and noticed these two extremes. Some of the performances (like Emily de Ravin and Candace McClure; actually how McClure got cast is not really understandable) are weak while Bettis goes over the top in some scenes.

I love her and I'd say she's underrated but she put just way too much in this and not in a good way.
