Normally I would never dream of walking out on a movie. Ticket prices in California being ridiculously high, so it isn't worth it. But once I started seeing video game footage I was gone.

I have to admit, I have never willingly walked out of a movie. I'm not the picky type though, I'll watch pretty much anything within the genres I like. The only film I walked out on was "The Punisher" with Thomas Jane in it. However, that was only because the friend I was with was feeling very unwell.
Films I was really tempted to walk out of though were "Manderlay" and "Zombie Strippers", but I persevered though.
EDIT: Oh, by the way, I enjoyed "House of the Dead". That being said, I didn't think the movie was good in the right ways, but rather in all the wrong ways. It was very funny with the poor acting and script, and the slow-motion fight scene towards the end was horribly amazing. :D
Star Trek: The Motion Picure was the only time I ever walked out of a movie.

I don't like admitting the fact that I saw this movie in the theaters, but I will admit that I couldn't walk out of this movie because my buddy and I were laughing hysterically the entire time. It truly is the worst movie I've ever seen. I've only walked out of a movie once, and not because it was terrible. It was Master and Commander. Just wasn't feeling it.

Had I seen house of the dead in theaters I probably would've also walked out.
The 2 films that I had walked of are
1. The People Under the Stairs. Pure garbage. It was so stupid
I twitched and squirmed till I couldn't stand it. There is
something about bad child actors that I have no tolerance for.
2. A Miracle At St. Anna. Wow, this is coming from an aclaimed
director Spike Lee. He is a hit and miss director with me but,
my God this movie sucks. People were laughing during the battle
scenes. That's how bad this was. I could go off on how bad this was.
Just avoid this crap.

Only one movie I really WANTED to walk out on and it was Benjamin Button, I don't normally see movies in theaters unless I know I'll like them. I figured Benjamin would be enjoyable to me but I was wrong. Wasn't an absolutely terrible movie, it just wasn't entertaining for me, except the scene with the lightning.

I have a rule to never walk out of a film, no matter how bad it is, but I have shamefully broken it twice.
Traffic: It's not an awful film, but jeez it was pretty dull. I probably would've got into it had i seen it a different time, but to be honest none of us were really in the mood to watch it it seems. The moment we decided to walk out however was actually pretty damn funny, i leant over to my sister and said "do you know that there are 120 panels on the ceiling?" my sister looks back and says, "no there isn't there's 122" then my sisters boyfriend leans over and says "both of you are wrong, it's 119" we'd all been counting the damn panels on the ceiling, on that note it was time to leave, lol.
The Mummy 3: I actually wasn't going to walk out due to vowing never to break my don't walk out of a movie rule again years after Traffic, but I got a call from family who needed a lift from the train station. To be honest I was pretty fecking relieved that I had a legitmate reason to leave, the movie really did suck, lol.
I'll also admit that I nearly walked out of Speed Racer too but stuck with it to the end, that cringe worthy, multi coloured, epilepsy inducing pile of crap of a movie.
I don't know if you could technically call it "walking out", but I remember an early 80's horror film called (I think) "Fear No Evil" I went to see it with a couple of buddies, and I kept falling asleep it was so boring. So I went out into the lobby and played pinball, or whatever passed for arcade games in those days. Maybe we even had PacMan by then...
I don't think I've ever tried to watch that movie again since. And I love horror movies!

Yes. Yes, it did. A friend who worked at the local AMC let us see a showing of it for free, and we only made it about halfway through. What a horrible let-down!
