Why do people dislike "Cars"?

It`s very well known that "Cars" is essentially perceived as being the Black Sheep of the Pixar Pantheon. And this was way before they went to their dud-phase with their even more hated sequel. But I`ve been deeply curious about why exactly do people dislike "Cars"?
