What films are similar or what films have inspired this?

Hi, in your opinion, what films are similar and what do you think are the films that may have inspired this?

While watching it, I couldn't help but detect influences of and similarities to films like Michaelangelo Antonioni's "Zabriskie Point" (1970), Jean Luc Godard's "Weekend" (1967), the ending especially seemed to not only reference "Deliverance" (1972) and "Midnight Cowboy" (1969) (which had at least one black and white segment in the flashbacks depicting a harrowing attack on Joe Buck and his girlfriend) but also thrillers like The Vanishing (1988) and "Breakdown" (1997) with Kurt Russell plus a few nods to Alfred Hitchcock, Haneke's "Funny Games" (1997), Ozon's "Criminal Lovers" (1999) and Gaspar Noe's "Irreversible" (2002) as well as any late 90s/00s European and French erotic cinema including works of Catherine Breillat and any road movie (Wild at Heart (1990) ) give or take.
