What is this? Another movie trying to rip off American consumers?

Well, I guess I got your attention.

Saw the trailer and I wasn't impressed. I read good IMDB member reviews, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth.

My first reaction was "Oh, great. Another capitalist trying to rip off nostalgic fools." I know I am being negative, but is it possible that this movie is nothing more than just a blatant attempt to suck our money to enrich another person? It's just my personal feeling and I like to hear what you guys think. I am just sick and tired of lame works being produced to target nostalgic fools (I am one of them). I enjoyed watching galaxy quest and a lot of other mocu-mentaries. However, this movie trailer just made me thinking “oh shoot. Here comes a crap movie disguised as a hommage to nostalgic 50s’ B movies. bah!

My life isn't any better than yours.

So you watched the trailer, and wrote a review, not knowing what the *beep* you're even talking about. And you talk about bad tastes in your mouth and of people sucking something out of other people.

Watch the movie before you criticize it.

Considering this is a dirt cheap indy that didn't get a theatrical release and isn't sold at big stores like Wal-Mart...how would it be ripping off anyone?

The film I could most compare Larry Blamire's work to is "Alien Trespass" which came out I believe in 2008. It barely got a theatrical release.

As for the "crap movie" comment, perhaps watch it then decide? I knew what it was going in and I love it. I don't see how anyone that enjoys those old films wouldn't like this...but some obviously don't.

So you haven't seen the movie, but pass judgment on it anyway. You're what's wrong with film today.
