Roger Ebert hates Kiarostami like devil

Read his reviews and you will find the most unprofessional writing about movies there is. He openly hates Kiarostami. He can't stand him. His idiotic mind cannot overcome the inability to understand this great film maker and therefore he cant't stand him. And it all comes from a winner of Pulizer's Prize. Shame.

Uh, there's honestly nothing wrong about disliking the work of a particular filmmaker, including Kiarostami. Just because Ebert's a respected critic (and rightfully so), it does not automatically mean he must recognize the artistic merits of each and every work (and similarly, does not mean he cannot award mediocre or less-than-mediocre films with glowing reviews). And while his distaste for Kiarostami is completely foreign to me (as evidenced in his "Ten" review), at least he attempts to explain why he feels so about this talented Iranian filmmaker.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
