Connections to Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare

Nobody ever talks about it but the Elm Street Nintendo game is very reminiscent of Freddy's Dead. People say it's more like Dream Warriors because of the Dream Power Token and Collecting Freddy's bones but moreso they say this because this game came out in late 1989 and Freddy's Dead came out in 1991 and they are dependent on linear time. How could a Freddy game have anything to do with a Freddy movie that came out two years after? Well let's explore

The instruction manuel states that everyday has heralded the discovery of a another neighborhood teen has died in his sleep and you and your friends are the last ones left but let's face it most people weren't playing this with 4 people they are playing solo which makes them the Last Kid in Springwood who happens to be a punk white kid with black hair just like the John Doe.

The town in the game itself Is certainly more reminiscent of the the town in Freddy's Dead than any other version of Springwood to date. All the houses are abandoned just like in Freddy's Dead, Freddy has complete control over the whole town even in the awake world just like in Freddy's Dead. Even the dark sky in this game and Freddy's Dead feel similar.

No adults are found but you can easily imagine if youdid find one they would be as bat shit crazy as the adults in Freddy's Dead. Even small things like water dripping from the ceiling becomes blood dripping from the ceiling when you fall asleep and when you beat thd game you go to a victory screen that says "Freddy is Dead"

I watched the Never Sleep Again Documentary and when you get to Part 6 Rachel Talalay talks about the Power Glove scene. Now i am a huge Nintendo fan since the 80's and when Rachel Talalay talks about the Power Glove it is a "Real recognizes Real" moment for me and her enthusiasm and thd say she describes what the power glove is i automatically know that she was also a huge 80's Nintendo fan and she didnt just put the power glove in the movie for no reason she did it because she is a fan.

This game came out in late 1989 and you havd to figure with Freddy's Dead coming out in 1991 they went into production right after this game was released. Rachel Talalay being an Nes Nerd of course played it as she was involved in ANOES from the very beginning and now was her first chance to make her own movie so she just appiled some imagination to the NES game and extended it into a movie.

This will never be officially revealed as a fact in some trivia section or become some footnote that every single YouTuber, Commenter or so called "Professional" will repeat over and over again thinking they are telling you something new when in reality you are sick of hearing it but take it from your Uncle Bosdog6777 that this is exactly the way Freddy's Dead went down
