Sadly Underrated

No one has heard of this. No one will respond to this post, and that is too bad.

It's good isn't it?

I saw it today. It was pretty good, I thought. Certainly better than say, "Ozone" or "Totem". Personally, my favorite Full Moon film is still and probably always will be "Darkwalker".

reply

This movie sucks. There's nothing about this film that is good.

Did the cut out the rotting tits scene?

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

This film is so bad its good. I watched it when I was young so I still got scared (I do with all horror films, its sad) But it was funny. In a gross way, I love this film!
Classic...

Definately not the best movie Debbie Rochon has ever been in, but her character in this is fun and the monsters aren't bad. The concept seems a little "Pumpkinhead" to me, but I enjoyed it. If it had been longer or lacked Rochon's performance to give you a character to latch onto I don't think I would have liked it.

reply

I wouldn't go so far as to call it "good", but it's undeniably way above average by b-movie standards. At least it was a contemporary Full Moon production that didn't feature homicidal dolls, or puppets.

reply

I've seen my share of Full Moon TURKEYS, but this definitely goes on the top tier of Full Moon features...might've worked better if it was an hour long feature as some of the redneck scenes were unnecessary IMO.

My absolute fav Full Moon is Castle Freak w/o a doubt! Dead Hate the Living deserves a special mention (being a homage to Lucio Fulci & all).

10 years later, and I'm posting! Been a fan since this came out on video! :) I adore this movie. An annual staple in my October movie list. That pumpkin scene with Debbie Rochon is about as Halloween as it gets, haha.

Was actually better than expected gave it a 5/10.

Do you know what happens when you're dead and rotting? Your flesh turns putrid and your clothes start spotting. Your belly bloats up, your guts turn to chum, your eyeballs turn purple like overripe plums. Your skin turns black with a putrefaction gleam, pus drips from your pores like whipping cream. Yes, it's no fun being rotting and dead. It's no fun at all; enough has been said.
