Methos

Okie, I know nothing in this film makes much sense and why bother trying, but why was Methos such an unlikeable *beep* in this? Then, he just runs off with cannibals chasing him? Are we to assume he was caught (most likely as they had no problem stopping the two of them, yet Mac was the only one to fight)?

Finally watched this POS and must say, fuct this movie. This was such a slap in the face there is no way it was unintentional, unless they thought they were doing some kind of deconstruction, but even then it comes across as arrogant in it's own *beep* and incoherence. Suddenly Highlander 2 looks good, well not really, but almost.

If I didn’t talk the way I talk I wouldn’t know who the hell I am, Sean Connery on his accent

Actually yes, suddenly The Quickening looks brilliant compared to this piece of shlt.

That's what confuses me about this movie. They never tell you or explain how or if Methos died in the movie, but he must've if Duncan was the last Immortal, the One. I mean they really leave the life or death of Methos up to your imagination I guess. But Duncan got what he wanted. To be mortal. They said something about some of the others weren't truly good but Duncan was true of heart, whatever that means

What they were doing was leaving it to were if this is the last movie we can assume he died off screen. An if its popular enough to get a sequel they can bring him back an say we never saw him die lol. They were leaving the option open for his return

reply

Lol thanks for the answer. Well its obvious they never made another movie sequel so I guess we have to assume he died off screen from those people sent to kill them by the Guardian. We'll never know I guess

Methos didn't necessarily have to die for Duncan to get the prize. This dopey movie made it clear that "It's always been about life", which I took to mean that immortals didn't have to kill all the rest. If they wanted the prize, they just had to be worthy when whatever incarnation of Duncan's wife happened to be going to the source.
