Most unrealistic sci-fi film ever made?

At least since the 70s, and for a big-budget studio 'blockbuster'. It makes Twister look like a National Geographic documentary; people standing unscathed within 10 feet of an F5 tornado is somehow more believable than 99% of the crap in this movie.

The very idea that the core has stopped spinning is beyond absurd. The movie should've ended 2 minutes in as a cute short film. I mean, the earth stops spinning and the worst that happens at first is birds crash into stuff and we have some scattered freak lightning/heat storms? If the earth stopped spinning, everyone on Earth would instantly die. There's no "by four months, this happens, and by a year..." crap. All multi-celled life on earth would be obliterated within 60 seconds.

Can't think of another sci-fi film that's more preposterously and laughably unrealistic. I get most movies will take factual liberties, or else all movies would be boring, but they didn't even try with The Core. The same writers would have you believe you can breathe in space without a helmet and you could survive a fall from Mount Everest without a single scratch.

That one about the moon crashing into the Earth ... Moonfall. That's gotta be a major contender for the moronic movie or the decade. I hate these kinds of movies as I would have seen through them when I was a kid.

Did you ever see the movie about the man who skied down Everest.
Mostly he fell.
In the Expanse Naomi Nagata took a jump through the vacuum of space.
That was so ridiculous.
Our media is proof of how stupid Americans are.
