To All Eminem Fans - Top 20 Eminem Songs

1. Lose Yourself - Incredible song, very serious and unbelievable rhymes. Amazing beat that flows perfectly with his personal rhymes. Won an oscar
2. Stan - Tells a tragic story with the haunting Dido chorus. Perfect delivery and nice escalating beat. His most critically acclaimed song.
3. Till I Collapse - Awesome pump up song, very hardcore, sick beat
4. When Im Gone - Tells the story of the struggle between Eminem's life as a rapper and his life as a father and husband. Very Uplifting
5. Like Toy Soldiers - Beautiful chorus that contrasts the cold tone of his verses that describe beef between rappers and his duty as a rapper.
6. The Way I Am - Eminem telling the world that this is how he is and he doesnt care who likes him. Great chorus.
7. Infinite - Best song off his first album ``Infinite`` ridiculous multi rhymes that weave around the chill beat smoothly and effortlessly
8. Rock Bottom - Very gloomy, depressing song. His ability to weave multiple rhymes into one line shine here.
9. Beautiful - Perfect title. From the powerful interlude of Reaching Out by Paul Rodgers to the great lyrics telling us all that anyone can be beautiful.
10. Mockingbird - Eminem trying to explain life to his daughter. full of sadness and emotion great beat. Eminem shows off his voice on the chorus.
11. Sing For the Moment - Great mix between rock and rap with the song Dream on by Areosmith. Eminem never misses a rhyme or beat as he talks about his upbringing and talks about why rappers talk about such violent concepts.
12. Difficult (Dudey) Different versions because it was leaked before finished but i like the version with no chorus. Beautiful "When im Gone type Beat" to go along with Eminem's tear jerking, story telling lyrics revolving around the life of his best friend Proof who past away. An emotional powerhouse
13. The Sauce - Heated, intense, high paced response towards rapper Benzinos beef with him. Excellent flow and pain inflicting lyrics. Eventually Benzinos career was ended.
14. Just Dont Give a *beep* - Eminems response to the people outraged over his controversial lyrics. lyrics flow very nicely.

How anyone can listen to the annoying garbage this putz puts out is beyond baffling.

Whos the putz? A famous multimillionaire who's loved by millions of fans, or the guy who searches through his personal page on a website to make hate comments?

im in the minority buy I'd say at least 10 of his 20 best songs come from his second or third album. Maybe a few from the first and recovery. Relapse and encore were bad.

Can't think of one track on relapse that was a top 20. Crack a bottle is probably top 30.

Encore has mockingbird and like toy soldiers which are barely top 20. The rest is bad.

Under rated tracks:
-rock bottom
-criminal
-role model
-till I collapse
-when the music stops
-say what you say

reply

Encore was pretty bad for Eminem standards. I don't know if any of that album is top 20 for him and Spend Some Time is probably my favorite from that average album.

In no particular order...I think his first LP is the best obviously by my 7 top 20 choices....his 2nd and latest album are probably tied for 2nd on the my album list. I was 12 years old when the Slim Shady LP came out and it still holds a special place in my heart and is a top 5 album of all time in my mind.

Infinite
Role Model
If I Had
My Name Is
Brain Damage
Rock Bottom
As The World Turns
Just Don't Give A
Scary Movie
Drug Ballad
Criminal
Stan
Lose Yourself
Sing For The Moment
Drips
Superman
Til I Collapse
Goin Thru Changes
Never Over
Talkin To Myself

My Top 20:

1. Infinite, no explanation needed really, amazing lyrics and he really shows true quality without multi million dollar backing.

2. Lose Yourself. Last verse absolutely destroys the beat, and he just proved what he can do in his prime.

3.Rabbit Run. I personally loved this track, 2 and a half minutes of anger fuelled lyrics, almost like a long freestyle. Goes perfectly with LY, and is a classic easily.

4. Soldier. Under rated to Hell,IMO. This and Till I Collapse are amazing, although this edges it for me.

5.Say Goodbye Hollywood. He describes his pain with fame whilst still painting a picture lyrically.

6. Sing For The Moment. " In the land of the killers, a sinners mind is a sanctum"

7. Welcome To D-Block. Now, I know technically this isn't Eminem's song, but Jada,Sheek, Styles and Eminem all sound perfect on the track, real gem IMO.

8.Stay Wide Awake. He goes in depth with the serial killer attitude, and shows he still can use wordplay effortlessly even at the age of 36 when he made the track.

9.8 Mile. He really just describes what it's like for most poor people ( not trying to say what I live in is anywhere near his struggles, though.) and does it whilst using a train track and a simple beat, representing Detroit and to Mo-Town.

10.Amityville. No one can deny how weird this song can make you feel, although recent attempt at re making this song weren't that good, except for SWA and maybe SSAD.

11. Who Knew. This song pissed my parents off so many times when I used to have it on repeat, never failed to prove a point about his critics, either.

12. Rock Bottom. A properly inspirational song, one of his best songs about growing up.

13. Kim. A song most people have played when they are pissed at a girl - or boy - and want to know how to vent their anger, maybe not to this extent though.

14. Still Don't Give A *beep*. Much better than JDGAF, IMO.

15. Mockingbird. This is his most meaningful song from 2004- present, with maybe When I'm Gone or Going Through Changes joint first, although this came out first, so I got to understand it quicker.

15. Going Through Changes. Same as Mockingbird, although came out more recently so it didn't have the same effect as Mockingbird.

16. Marshall Mathers. A diss song and a complaint to his fans, all in one. Amazing.

17. Cold Wind Blows. Some stupid lines in here, but overall, he reeks confidence and it shows when he kills the beat.

18. Under Ground. Apart from the *beep* up skit at the end, this is one of the best beats I've heard in a long time.

19. Pimplikeness. RIP Proof.

20. Never 2 Far. Even before he was famous, he was getting the same message as Lose Yourself across to his limited fans.

I would switch 2-3 of honorable mentions with the ones in the list, but it's a solid, u basically copied my fav list

Wow, I couldent find anyone on here who put any songs from "Bad Meets Evil". That was easily one of his best albums. It's the only album where I REALLY liked every song. Him and Royce are unstoppable. If your an em fan and you have not heard this album, do yourself a favor and listen to it. Beginning with: welcome to hell, followed by "Fast Lane" and then "Above The Law" its amazing how good they are. Those first three tracks are probably my all time favorite Eminem songs, and in no particular order. I don't know, maybe not all time, but they are definitely in my top 10, hrm top 5 even I will say with confidence. Check em out on youtube.

Welcome To Hell
Fast Lane
Above The Law

He has so many great songs. I really liked "Kim" because I have yet to hear anyone spill out so much emotion into a track like he did. The ending still gives me chills:

"Now shut the *beep* up and get what's coming to you! Bleed bitch bleed. BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!"

Most other tracks have been mentioned multiple times. Check these ones out. You can't call yourself a true Eminem fan until you've heard these! Good topic.

No order:

1) Infinte - great hook

2) 313 - 'in case you dont remember me, Ill run your brain around the block to jog your fùcking memory'

3) Stan - brilliant story, cleverly imagined and delivered.

4) Puke - great break up song! Even if the puke noises make me feel nauseous.

5) Sing for the Moment - another track where you can see the pure effort and labour that went into writing it.

6) Yellow Brick Road - adresses his mistakes in a honest open, way but doesnt let it get to maudlin.

7) Rock Bottom - Heavy song that I think a lot of people can relate to at one time or another.

8) Open Mic - I could probably list every track from Infinte, it's most def. my most played Em album. every track has a great beat and wicked lyrics.

9) Mashall Mathers - explains his struggle with his rise to fame brilliantly.

10) 8 Mile Road -

11) If I Had - Quite a sorry song about being poor, but lightens it up somewhat at the chorus.

12) White America - Every lyric is gold, Except the forced, tacked on ended demanded by PR/Management

13) Never 2 Far - I like this as its so disprate from Ems following style.

14) Guilty Conscience - don't get why this gets a bad rap. The narrative and imagery are second to none.

15) SDGAF - 'how in the f–k am I supposed to get out of debt? I can’t rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet'

16) Murder, Murder - somber lyrics and good beat

17) The Way I Am - good fùck you, Im not a nice person track

18) Superman - same as above but for the fan girls

19) Hailies Song - lovely song, quiet poetic in the lyrics

20) I Love You More

Honourable Mentions:

- Jealously Woes
- Maxine
- Cleaning out My Closet
- Kill You
- JDGAF
- 97 Bonnie and Clyde
- I'm Back
