Why are the Japs (East-Asians generally) so violent ?

Why are they so bloody, gory, excessive if compared to the West in everything they seem to take on ? Their cartoons are extremely violent, even some of the ones that aren't on the extreme spectrum (Dragon Ball, Kenshiro), they've got the weirdest most twisted torture porn and horror flicks whether it be visually or in concept...you get the picture. Why do you think their public demands so much crude, raw, prolific violence and why are they cultures of excess that way ?

Yeah, damn the Japs for making Cannibal Holocaust, Saw, Hostel, A Serbian Film, etc.. dumbass.

Make up your mind, is he a dumbass or troll? The former probably applies to you, because this sounds like a valid question. I remember when a friend showed me The Guyver, some of the most graphic animation I had seen at the time, and the (Japanese) box said it was approved for 6 year olds.

We too have some pretty gruesome movies in the US but the japs and south East Asians go much crazier with the bloody gory violence lol
