What happened to the sex-scene in the trailer?

Does anybody know? In the trailer we see Christina Ricci's character having "sex" with the guy..umm..forgot his name. Well, the one from the village with whom she talks a lot and he's one of the Gathering-people too.

It was kinda odd to see that in the trailer (no, it wasn't hardcore, no titties or anything but still..) but not in the movie.

I saw both scenes. Too bad they do things like that

I saw it on DVD, in Canada. There was no sex scene and things were a bit confusing. Not sure how Cassie and Dan suddenly knew each other. They were suddenly talking in the bar after the bikers chase her.

This is pretty much how they met. Cassie felt like followed by those bikers and escaped into a pub where she met Dan. It was all a bit "head over heels" but it worked for me.

Everyone can't be straight. Everyone can't be beautiful. Everyone can't be the same.

To all the children looking for sex scenes and being disappointed, sorry, there are none.

We are presented with a group of people, yet alive close to 2,000 years after their birth who are very homicidal and who were present to witness Christ's crucifixion. They came to that party as spectators and remained to rid the world sans discrimination of whomever they came in contact with. I ask you, "What else would 2,000 year old "watchers" do?" Obviously though we should all be leery of spectators such as these. They seek to be more than merely spectators, brrrr.

Once Christina Ricci regains her memory following her accident she does rejoin that group of spectators of which she is a member but merely as a spectator and not one of the homicidal whackos. Hurrah, Christina!

It is clear to me that this film with its superbly intelligent and sensitive screenplay should be rated at least a 10/10. I only wish I could award it more.

Only two things are actually knowable:
It is now and you are here. All else is merely a belief.

Saw it on the UK's Freeview horror channel I think it was, and there was no kissing scene and no sex scene. Odd that they would edit that out for a movie that runs late at night. 

We have just watched it in the UK on the Horror channel and there was no sex scene

Watched it last night on uk horror channel. Not so bothered about missing a sex scene as such, but it would have added to their relationship which appeared as simply a friendship. Would have liked to have known what the extra dialogue between them was too. Overall I thought it was an ok movie with a very interesting concept, ( whether original or not).
