I loved this movie and it is never on cable....

As I recall, this was an HBO movie. HBO is funny about their programming and distribution thereof. I remember seeing it on HBO and buying the DVD later on.

Very true about HBO. It's frustrating w all the crap they air & won't mix it up a bit. I always liked this movie, but I kno if I want to see it again, I'll have to buy it. Even tho I (we) pay for HBO.

It is on DVD and my public library has it, so yours might, too.

reply

Yeah, HBO, at least put it on On Demand!

I once wrote to HBO asking them why Citizen X wasn't On Demand when it was one of their best movies ever. They never responded but within a year it was On Demand pretty consistently, so you may get somewhere by contacting them directly.

Why isn't it on HBO Go????

Not the best quality but it is on YouTube:

It’s strange how some great films just disappear, and the only way to watch them again is on someone’s grainy, laggy youtube upload. Uma was a tour de force in this. Why do these streaming channels only serve up mediocre 2000 era blockbusters like Avatar and King Kong, yet ignore these small, powerful films?
