am i the only one who was glad when rory had a heart attack?

no one could have deserved it more. the way he treated his mother was disgusting.

I admit I did experience a sense of schadenfreude at the time. But he seemed to mellow out afterward and I felt a bit more sympathy towards him.

Yes, and the entire fish thing was pretty telling. If his father was more present and his mother more loving, they would have made him eat fish and healthy food at home and he wouldn't have been in the shape he was in...

He didn't just treat his mother bad. He started fights with his neighboring kids who only wanted to play with his football, and even thought he was right in doing so!

@texxas-1 What's your problem? Why don't you fυсk off?

Just doing my impression of Rory, lol. Anyways, he was an ungrateful shït, that's for sure, but I didn't feel glad. I'd argue that Donna's boyfriend Jason deserved it more. If that сunt had gotten the heart attack instead I would've been fist-pumping.

I had zero sympathy for him when he had his heart attack. Absolutely. But when I saw how much it devastated Penny I took it all back. I felt so much anguish for her when she is talking to the doctor and points at Rory and says "thats my little boy!" about this giant obese figure lying in the bed who had just been treating her so terribly and acting like an ass every chance he got. Suddenly I had sympathy for both him and her. Suddenly it became clear he was actually a victim of his circumstances and he reacts badly and in a way that ultimately ends up harming him, not some two dimensional despotic character. He has no control.
