Loyal Heart Dog - Completely shafted

Whats next? I'll tell you what's next, Loyal Heart Dog was given the biggest shaft ever.

Not one episode of the Nelvana run gave him any sort of role, he was a complete background character, didn't even get a single line of dialogue, why? I think I know why.

In the DiC run, he was given a speaking role (like two whole lines in the whole 15 minute cartoon) and he sounded exactly like Brave Heart Lion in the Nelvana run (DiC's Brave Heart had a voice similar to his Nelvana voice, but it was slightly quieter) and apparently Nelvana wanted BH to sound more lively so they took LH's voice and gave it to BH, LH was left without a voice. WHY? WERE THEY LAZY AND DIDN'T FEEL LIKE GIVING LH A NEW VOICE????

This is an outrage, LOYAL HEART DOG WAS WASTED, LOYAL HEART DOG WAS WASTED!

Maybe he got to bang some of the care bears legs. Who knows.

I totally agree. Probably the best and cutest character in the Care Bears and he wasn't given sh it. He could have had some great adventures.

Calm down, churlyryan. :) I do agree with you though, I realised the other day after re-watching some Care Bears episodes that he never really had a part. Strange considering dogs are very popular animals with kids. Neither did Love a Lot much. She had the occasional line here and there but as far as I remember she never had an episode where she was the focus. Share Bear and Harmony Bear never got much attention either but they were added by the TV series or movies, Love-a-Lot was one of the original ten from the greetings cards.

I think Loyal Heart Dog was on an episode with Proud Heart Cat but, that is the only episode I have seen him in. :(
