my point exactly. This was one of the worst movies i have ever seen. The whole plot was pointless and stupid. Even confessions of a teenage drama queen was better than this, and THAT was my least fave movie of all time til i saw this.
shareYep yep yep..I cannot believe it. I am a big fan of Lindsay Lohan and this film was a bit of a disappointment. However, she was younger there and it wasn't like a big movie where she could be critisized, just a t.v film to give her more experience I guess.
It aired last Saturday night here in Australia, which I'm happy about cause I think it's her only film which I hadn't seen. I wasn't even that keen to see it, probably just sensed it was crap as it was just a disney television film! :)
It reminded me of confessions of a teenage drama queen how she was rich and stuff.
I don't see why people reckon Lindsays acting was crap..she always does a fine job in all her roles.

It was definately better than "Life-Size" and her performance was better in this than in "herbie"...(jesus, how i hated herbie).
but give it a break.....her acting was reasonable for a disney movie, and it was well shot. i think the costuming was intentionally odd....I honestly didnt think this movie was that bad at all.

Well in my defense, I was only in 6th grade when it first premiered. Being the age that I was, I remember being very excited to watch it when the trailers first came out.
sharei highly agree i just watched this movie and i couldn't watch the whole thing. Her acting was appalling (but it is in every movie i watch with lindsays acting.)
Her co- stars were usless and the clothes were uncalled for. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS EVER!!!!

Keep in mind, this movie first appeared on the Disney Channel. It's not like they even put it in theatres for adults to see. For disney channel standards, I thought it was entertaining for children.

I think that it is supposed to be a spoof on the Clue movie with Tim Curry. Especially with the alternate ending on the DVD

I'm sure if you watched this movie again, say, when you turn 16, you would be able to see the atrocities of this movie. Not that I blame it. When I was 10 and it came on Disney Channel, I loved it. Disney will not make a film or TV Series unless it has some crazy unrealistic point to it, it gives the kids a wrong idea about life as a teenager and an Adult, kids arent suddenly accepting when you change your image, And what they see makes children behave ridiculously, and makes them believe things like there are witches, or that people come from the future, the aim of the Disney Channel is to make kids stupid. Old shows and Original Movies were much, much better, and could be watched with the entire family. BOYCOTT DISNEY CHANNEL!

I actually quite liked this film.
Er, the outfits were plain weird, no questions asked.

sharei watched this movie with my sister. First of all, i dont like Lindsay Lohan AT ALL!! hilary duff is way better than her.. and second of all, this movie was the all time, most crappiest movie EVER!!!

It's a 5-year-old's movie. It's not... horrible but it's not good. It's cute and quirky but very stupid to anyone above the age of 9. How was it not extremely suspicious with all that black clothing and trenchcoats and whatnot when they were in the hotel. And wouldn't somebody other than high school students be on this case? And wouldn't they have sectioned off his apartment? Yeah!!! It's a young kid's movie.
