i watch this tv show every night and i think is a rip off from batman, roger smith is a cheap copy of bruce wayne, his butler is even a cheaper copy of alfred and without mention the song at the beginning is a "parody" of the flash gordon theme by queen. any one else notice this?

Um then you obviously have never watched Metropolis or any Film Noir in your life.
Yes there are aspects of Batman in this Show but you have to remember that so does every Frecking Show, film, or art that is based on a Chicago variation utopia.
I think this portrays Metropolis perfectly (the Lan Fritz version not the anime)combined in Chicago archetypes to this day is shows the interplay between the rich in the city and the poor just trying to figure out there role in the world.
Batman doesn't work on those concepts it sadly is just about a rich man who hangs out with a boy all the time wearing spandex and beating up the mentally challenged.
You do know this and Batman were animated by the same studio, right?
